Ne İçin Kullanılır?
İncelenen ABD eszopiklon tableti uykusuzluk tedavisinde kullanılır; çalışmalarda uykuya dalma süresini kısaltmış ve uykunun sürdürülmesini iyileştirmiştir. Eszopiklon, rasemik zopiklonun S-enantiyomeridir ve ayrı bir etken maddedir; zopiklonla kendi kararıyla birlikte kullanılmamalı veya dozu eşdeğer kabul edilmemelidir.
Kullanılmaması Gereken Durumlar
ABD belgesine göre eszopiklondan sonra karmaşık uyku davranışı öyküsü ve eszopiklona aşırı duyarlılık. Birleşik Krallık Lunivia belgesi ayrıca zopiklona aşırı duyarlılığı; eszopiklon, zopiklon veya başka bir hipnotik sonrasında karmaşık uyku davranışı öyküsünü; myasthenia gravis, ağır solunum/karaciğer yetmezliği, ağır uyku apnesi, 18 yaş altı ve güçlü CYP3A4 inhibitörü kullanan yaşlı hastaları kontrendike sayar. Ülke ve ürün kuralları kullanılan ürüne göre doğrulanmalıdır.
Acil Değerlendirme Gerektiren Uyarılar
Sonradan hatırlanmayan uykuda yürüme, araç kullanma veya başka karmaşık davranışlarda yeni doz alınmamalı ve derhal hekimle iletişim kurulmalıdır. Uyandırılamama, yavaş soluma, boğaz-dil şişmesi veya kendine zarar düşüncesi acildir. Ertesi gün araç kullanma bozulması belirgin uyku hali hissedilmeden de olabilir. Ani bırakma veya hızlı doz azaltma yoksunluğa yol açabilir.
Eszopiclone Gebelikte ve Emzirme Döneminde Kullanılır mı?
Gebelikte Kullanım
ABD ürün bilgisinde insan gebelik verileri, ilaca bağlı büyük doğumsal kusur veya düşük riskini belirlemek için yetersizdir; hayvan çalışmalarında gelişimsel etkiler görülmüştür. Birleşik Krallık Lunivia belgesi gebelikte ve etkili korunma kullanmayan gebelik potansiyeli bulunan kadınlarda kullanımını önermez.
Emzirme Döneminde Kullanım
ABD belgesinde eszopiklonun insan sütündeki düzeyleri ve emzirilen bebekteki etkilerine ilişkin veri bulunmadığı belirtilir; yarar ve olası riskler birlikte değerlendirilir. Birleşik Krallık Lunivia belgesi emzirme sırasında kullanılmamasını belirtir. Rasemik zopiklonun süte geçiş verisi, eszopiklon için ölçülmüş bir süt düzeyi gibi sunulmamalıdır.
Eszopiclone Kullanırken Alkol Alınır mı?
Alkol Risk Düzeyi: Yüksek
Alkolle birlikte kullanılmamalıdır. Psikomotor bozulma ve merkezi sinir sistemi baskılanması artabilir; uykuda araç kullanma gibi davranışlar alkol alınmadan da gelişebilir.
Eszopiclone Yan Etkileri
Ağızda hoş olmayan tat, baş ağrısı, uyku hali, baş dönmesi, ağız kuruluğu ve bulantı görülebilir. Ertesi gün zihinsel ve hareketle ilgili performans etkilenebilir; düşme riski özellikle yaşlılarda önemlidir.
