If Cipro (Ciprofloxacin) 500 mg and Venetoclax must be used together, specialist dose adjustment and close toxicity monitoring are needed throughout the relevant treatment periods. An alternative is preferred where possible during CLL initiation and dose escalation. These medicines should not be incorrectly labelled as strong CYP3A inhibitors; the venetoclax rules for moderate inhibitors must be applied by the oncology team.
