Clinical significance and safety
Carbamazepine can reduce daridorexant exposure and its effect on insomnia. The daridorexant label advises avoiding strong or moderate CYP3A4 inducers. Increasing sleep medicine without a prescriber is not an appropriate response to reduced efficacy.
