Clinical significance and safety
For ritonavir-boosted darunavir (PREZISTA/ritonavir), tacrolimus or cyclosporine requires close concentration monitoring. Starting or stopping the boosted HIV regimen must be coordinated with the transplant team because toxic concentrations are possible.
