Efavirenz is a moderate CYP3A inducer. Voclosporin labeling recommends avoiding strong or moderate CYP3A inducers because treatment exposure and response can decrease. The HIV and kidney-disease teams should coordinate an alternative plan; do not stop antiretroviral therapy independently.
