This video provides a second presentation of the HPK1–inhibitor system discussed elsewhere in the video library. Its stated starting point is PDB 9H8D, the experimental structure of the T165E/S171E HPK1 construct bound to compound 6. The related research concerns inhibitor discovery; the animation is an educational visualization of a model, not a clinical study.

Follow the ligand relative to the protein

A useful way to watch is to keep the binding pocket as a reference. Compare the ligand's orientation with nearby protein features and distinguish local adjustments from motion of the whole complex. A camera rotation may reveal a contact that was already present; it does not mean that a new contact formed at that instant.

The original description highlights hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic contacts. These are plausible categories for analysing a kinase complex, but a movie alone cannot establish which contact is persistent or energetically decisive. Such claims need a defined geometric analysis over the trajectory, rather than a single attractive frame.

Comparing the two HPK1 videos

Different renderings of the same starting structure can help explain geometry. They should not be counted as independent biological experiments unless separate calculations and protocols are documented. This page does not supply enough trajectory metadata to make that claim. Likewise, 4K describes presentation resolution, not the accuracy of the molecular model.

Before using the visualization in research, consult the structural record for the construct and ligand identity. For an assessment of inhibitor efficacy or specificity, read the associated experimental study and distinguish biochemical results from cellular or animal findings. Nothing visible here establishes an approved indication, a dose or a treatment choice for a person with cancer.
